It's almost time!

For those interested here's the itinerary for my most wonderful adventure...

September 2nd - 8th Lovely London. Staying in the centre of Covent Garden. Sept 4th Evita at the Palladium. Sept 6th Les Miserables at The Sondheim.
September 8th - 14th The Rise and Fall of Anne Boleyn History Tour
September 14th - 18th A few more days in London because I'm sure people on the Tour will recommend places that I'd kick myself if I missed! If not, I'll head to Bath for 2 days, just coz I can.
September 18th - pick up the car. Head west, do as much Jane Austen (Steventon & surrounds) and Stonehenge as possible then on to Petersfield in Hampshire.
September 19th - 22nd Hever Castle History Festival - 13 speakers over 3 days. Staying at Hever Castle in the Anne Boleyn room of the Astor Wing within the Castle itself. YaY for Anne Boleyn's childhood home! 19th More Jane Austen in the morning, be at Hever Castle for 1st speaker at 1.30pm. 20th White Cliffs in the morning, 1st speaker at 1.30pm. 21st Canterbury Cathedral in the morning, 1st speaker at 1.30pm. All the days, free access to wander through and around the Castle and gardens during the day, in the evening, whenever I want! 22nd check out and head to Cirencester.
September 22nd -24th Cirencester
September 24th - 26th Chipping Campden. 22nd - 27th is exploring the Cotswolds. Kenilworth, Sudeley Castle, Bourton on the Water, Upper and Lower Slaughter, Stow on the Wold, Bibury, Broadway, Moreton-in-Marsh, Snowshill, Worcester, Stratford on Avon.
September 27th Royal Leamington Spa
September 28th Ludlow
September 29th - October 2nd Beddgelert, Gwynedd, Wales - Gallavanting all over Wales. Portmeirion, Betws-y-coed etc.
October 2nd Conwy. When leaving Conwy on the 3rd, travel to Kirk Ireton through Chester and Stoke on Trent.
October 3rd Kirk Ireton (near Bakewell) Derbyshire. Explore the Derbyshire Dales.
October 4th Ambleside, The Lakes District. Explore Ambleside, Grasmere, Lake Windermere, Castlerigg Stone Circle.
October 5th - 6th Leave Ambleside. Go through Penrith. Barnard's Castle, Egglestone Abbey to stay in Bishop Auckland. Explore Durham and the village of Brancepeth.
October 6th - 10th Goathland. The absolutely, completely and most wonderful Yorkshire Moors. Studley Royal Water Garden, Fountains Abbey, Castle Howard, Steam Railway, Whitby, Robin Hood's Bay, Grosmont, Pickering, soooo many more...
October 10th - 12th The Magnificent City of York.
October 12th Lincoln, Lincolnshire, East Midlands. When leaving on the 13th, visit Sherwood Forest on the way to Peterborough.
October 13th - 15th Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. Ruins of Fotheringhay Castle where Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned and executed.
October 15th Peterborough to Heathrow. Flight is not until 10.15pm so all day to head east and explore Framlingham Castle being very careful to get completely lost so that  I miss the flight home. What a shame.
October 17th Arrive Melbourne 5.40pm.
